I mentioned this info in another thread, but figured I would start a new thread so everyone on the board might see it.
I live in Totowa, NJ which is about 2 1/2 hours from Cape May. I have done numerous fishing trips from there over the years. I found this Econolodge off exit 25 of the Parkway in Marmora many years ago. You can usually get a room for $40 to $50 which lets you get a good nights sleep before your fishing trip. If you get the double beds and split the cost with someone else it is very cheap then. It is the old style where you can back your car or truck right up to your door which should keep your fishing gear safe. It is also set back from the highway about a quarter of a mile which makes it very quiet and peaceful. There is also a WAWA with a gas station on your way back to the parkway which is very convenient.
