Sea Hawk Fluke report 6/8
« on: June 08, 2009, 03:32:29 PM »
Started out in the back and had a slow pick of fish coming up over the rail. Picked away for a few hours until wind came up from the East with the outgoing which shut down what we had.

Took the ride to the east and really couldn't get much better action than we had initially. Did manage a decent amount of keepers, especially for some, but pretty slow overall. High hook had 5 and pool fish went 4lb 13oz.

Action has been up and down with the conditions. Hopefully improving soon. Had recent days where you could do no wrong and others where you had to work for the bites.

Reminder that our Magic Hour trips for Wed-Fri have changed with a departure time of 5pm. Still sailing the 3:30pm-9pm trips on Saturday and Sundays, as well as our daily 7am trips.

we have been doing better outside the past few trips

takes some fuel to get there but if the fish are there it is worth it
