Location: Pequest Trout Hatchery and Natural Resource Education Center
Time:       9 a.m. - 3 p.m. (check in at 8:30)
Cost:        $10; bring a lunch and dress for the weather

Attend this workshop at the NJ DEP Division of Fish and Wildlife's Pequst Trout Hatchery and make a splash in class this year with Project WET (Water Education for Teachers). Project WET ( http://www.projectwet.org/ ) provides teachers with the necessary tools, resources and lessons to help teach students about the importance and value of water in everyday life.

Teachers will receive the Project WET Curriculum and Activity Guide upon completion of the six-hour workshop. The Project WET Curriculum and Activity Guide is a collection of more than 90 science-based, interdisciplinary activities and lesson plans that are teacher-tested and classroom ready for K-12 students. The lessons cover an array of diverse topics and disciplines.

Teachers will also receive professional development credits for taking the workshop.
