Like everyone else it seemed we started our day fishing deep rock piles for the first few hours...but the drift got to be a bit much so we shifted our thought process to a more local area known to everyone coming out of the Highlands. We were surprised to see a lack of boats in the area, and figured people had already worked the area over and had moved on. The outgoing tide started, but with the East wind we were only at .7kts. Nice fish came over the last hour and a half and we headed in to weigh. Scotty at 6.82, mine at 6.7 and another at 5.8
Finished in 6th place and 17 keepers for 4 guys. The "golden rule" never made it out, so if they had to be measured...back they went. Nice day given the stiff East wind which cooled it off -10 degrees.
