fished sandy hook point today. lots of sea robins, lots of small fluke, saw some splashing up and down the shoreline, hooked up with many 2-4 lb blues, had action all day long until we were told to leave because of those stupid birds nesting. there goes my surf spot for the entire summer. nice day, left before it rained. fished from 6 am until about 11.
killies single or killie with a spearing was the bait i used, squid i never have luck with anymore.
going out tomorrow on a party boat with my g/f, my sister and my sisters boyfreind. be at atlantic highlands around 7 or so, to fish 1/2 day fluke on one of the 8-1230 boats. see what happens
