Headed out noonish and rounded the hook to find bunker spread out all over. tried to net some with no luck so snagged a bunch and headed south. Stopped every once in a while for some snag and drop and to fill the well. Went way south with no bass. Only bunker. they covered the ocean out to 50 foot. Water is now 67degrees. Seas were flat as could be with no wind. NOAA??? Did not want to leave the bunker so made some moves and went out and about with nothing. Finally decided to start heading back and saw a small fleet that were on some bunker. Got a little closer and saw a hook up. 7pm. the wind had just changed over and some dark clouds were on the horizon. Dropped in some livies and soon had the first one . Nice fat 33lber. More boats running into the area and lost one and then got another one.27lber. lost another and boated another 33lber. Started to rain heavy and everybody cleared out but we could not see the bunker anymore and we never had any good marks to begin with so we stuck it out and managed to boat another 28-30lber...All released but the last small one. Not bad but I was hoping for a lot better. If I was up north 5 miles I would have done much better, but thats fishing.
