Roosters Flukin 6-25
« on: June 25, 2009, 07:03:53 PM »
Finally a dry day to fish, although cloudy, still a nice day on the water.
Calm seas allowed travel to wherever we wish Tom and I tried The Shrewsbury Channel by #2, then out to #1 at the Point of the Hook, around the corner to #13 Sandy Hook Channel, down the beach past the Nude Beach, North Beach, out to #7 Sandy Hook Channel and back in to Atlantic Highlands harbor entrance as a last try. All for one 18½" keeper Fluke that Tom caught. We had fun at least being able to get around to places we haven't tried for awhile. There were plenty of shorts and Sea Robins to keep us busy, no yellow-eyed demons, and some Bunker to snag.  Pete

Any day on the water that is rain free in this month is a banner day. You did put one in the box.
