Wet Dreams 6/28 ...wind killed it again!
« on: June 29, 2009, 07:44:53 AM »
Headed out at 2pm with regular customer David Shepelsky and sons along with Terry Timpson for a run down the beach to find some bunker IN THE WEST WIND THAT WAS FORECASTED....it was blowin SE about 10 ,and as we hit the reef for some fluke and sea bass on the way south,it just got harder and harder. so much for seeing any bait on top tonight so we stayed at the reef as long as conditions permitted and had a nice pick of fluke to 22 inches and a knuckler sea bass coming in at just over 3lbs caught by Josh Shepelsky....headed back inside for a few drifts with minimal results and only some throw backs. Thanks for the weather forecast being right on the money again!!!!!!!!!!

Nice report Capt Carl.

I think I saw all the books on weather forcasting in the fiction section of the library. The weather man sucks. Never gets it right, I think it should be part of their training to STICK THEIR HEAD OUT A WINDOW SOMETIME TO SEE WHAT IS GOING ON. Maybe they can then put a report out that is factual.  nosmly
