Today I had the weekly STC sports charter out for some more seabassing. We were greeted at the inlet with some nice SE slop that built up over night. It seems that 2 out of 3 of the charters fisherman had late nights and payed the price pretty quickly. First stop was nice quality with good numbers but a cross wind, tide, and swell made it a bit to uncomfortable. With 20 nice fish in the box we change areas to find a more favorable tide direction. The rest of the day was a pick with some real nice fish to 19" and tons of shorts. The guys rallied nicely(but they did not eat lunch) and finished with 45 keeper seabass, 1 ling ,1 porgie, and a dozen out of season blackfish. Back at it tomorrow. Catch em up and good luck
