catfish's fluke report 7/3/09
« on: July 04, 2009, 08:19:13 AM »
headed out early w/ my buddy chris w/ high hopes of a great trip as we rounded the hook we were blessed w/ a great sight ,a huge school of dolphin were jumpin out of the water ,we watched them for some time and moved to the fishing grounds ,we had a keeper sea bass in the boat before both lines were in and it was game on ,we beat the hell out of the fish and had 10 in the box by 11 am ,we needed 2 more fish for a limmit and couldnt get it done ,I moved to a couple spots and even did some stupid stuff wich cost us 15 bucktails .tough conditions ,we couldnt get the same drift and then the winds changed ,once that happened it was over and we played w/ shorts till we caled it a day ,we had over 75 fish .

Nice catch and report.  Myself and Kezsr saw the dolphins as well, a little before 6 AM, very cool sight.  Nice pics.

for some reason I can find a snag on sand bottoms ,lol. I need at least 200 a season from here on out .I usaly fish alone so it is hard to spin the boat back on the snag.
