Had members of the Sting wrestling club on board today for a Fluke charter and the spent the day grappling fish.
Tried the Sandy Hook Channel, but again it was wind with tide and made for an impossible drift.
Shot down the beach, first stopped yielded close to 3 dozen shorts from 15 to 17 1/2".
Made a run south to sticky bottom, again right choice. Stayed with this spot for the rest of the trip. Almost every drifts was drop and reel between the Fluke and Sea Bass, many times all rods were bent at once.
Boated keeper Fluke from 19-24" and Sea Bass to 16". Threw back well over 80 Fluke today and around 55 Sea Bass.
Boys had a great time and went home with bags of meat.
