Hello S&S30,

Unfortunately the are no cheap bait shops this time of year especially in PP.  It is prime time my friend.  The only time you get cheap anything in the summer is if you frequent the shop almost on a daily basis.

If you want to try your luck at the cast net is around the bridges that are all over the area.  Just watch out for the private property signs that have pooped up all over the place.

Happy Catching

Paul

Are you land bound or on a boat?  What type of bait are you looking for?

I buy my squid in the super markets. A 6 lb box is like 7 bucks.

I also get my squid at foodtown or whereever along with smelts if they have them. And for the cast net I am not land bound I do have a boat and I do also have a seining net.
 Thanks again
