Rough, rolly ride from Manasquan Inlet to the Shrewsbury Rocks in a quartering wind, NE 10 to 15. OK once we came back on the anchor. Stayed in 1 spot for the entire trip. Fairly steady action on bait (bunker chunks). I landed 13 bluefish, keeping 5. 6-to-8 pounders at the start, 2-to-4 pounders at the finish. Tried a Gator spoon w/o a hit. Kudos to Capt. Jim for sailing w/ 16 fares and taking 2 mates. Once the boat was anchored, Jim slung the chum, and chunks, from the bow, and the 2 mates gaffed, unhooked fish, and cleared line tangles. Top-notch service.
