Winds from the East, cloudy, rain, wind against tide, it didn't seem like a good morning to drift for Fluke. Tom and I had his SIL Scott out on the Roosters looking for a few good Fluke to take home. We stayed in Sandy Hook Bay for five hours of foul weather fishing and were not disappointed.
Tom landed the biggest Fluke at 21½" plus one more keeper; I followed with a 20" and two other keepers. Scott managed one at 20" on a Spro. All the keeper fish were caught within an hour of another as the rest of the time shorts were the order of the morning. There were several yellow-eyed demons taken along with many Sea Robins and an abundance of Calico crabs. The fish hit on all baits of Killies, strips, and Gulp!. Pete
