If only February were over ...
« on: February 03, 2007, 10:22:23 AM »
Hi All,

Cabin fever is almost over folks. Despite good catches of ling and blackfish being reported, I am on the sidelines this year. Normally I am in Florida for most of February. This year I will not get a chance to get down there.

Stripers and Winter Flounder can be a target in March in the bays and rivers (be familiar with the regs). Spawning tiderunners will make there way into the bays in April. Word has it that they started showing up in late March last year.

Who plans to get an early start this year? Any words of wisdom for those that have stayed on the sidelines in March?

Have fun,

Capt. Ed

I hope to be heading out Feb 19th on the gambler for some ling and hopefully some seabass.. also will be doing some ice fishing as well.. unfortunatly I dont own a boat...mostly head boats, charters, friends boats ( when they generously invite me, and of course the beach..  I dont let a little cold bring me down with cabin fever.. ;D
I spend 90% of my time fishing, The rest I just waste..
