Hi,

I use (and have used for a long time) Collinite's No. 925 (Fiberglass Boat Wax 925). I get it at my marina (they have it at West Marine and Boater's World also). It costs about $25/bottle.

Best wishes,

Capt. Ed

Hi Joe,

After they basically killed the Winter Flounder season last year, I have not been in too much of a hurry to get the boats running full time. I want to be in by mid-May this year.

I am going back to California for the month of April. I have been working on fine tuning some "west coast" techniques that I can use here. I have spent a lot of time working on trolling techniques for bottom fish ... I am constantly trying to target fish on the afternoon when the hard Southeast winds blow here.

If you need to know what works for me getting rid of stains or bringing back the shine on the gelcoat, I will go to the shed to find out.

Best wishes,

Capt. Ed

Capt Ed.

Lucking for me the boat is brand new. I just want to buff her out and remove some surface marks from the cover. I took good care of her for winter wrap up . Hope to hit the water next week. I was hoping the weather would hold to get a good coat of wax on her ...
I may have the a chance to get  her indoors for a few days??

Good luck in Cali.. one place Iwant to shark fish this year!!

Hi Joe,

Sharking was incredible for me there last year. I hope that it continues.

I had a very good sturgeon season. I look forward to the start of salmon on April 7 and of course, halibut should start up soon.

I used to winter in Florida but I am spending more time in California these days.

We cruise out to the Farallon Islands once in a while. Great white sharks are incredible to watch!

Best wishes,

Capt. Ed
