Fished the toms canyon Saturday-Sunday and had all the dolphin you wanted.
We caught some dolphin on the troll inside the canyon on saturday afternoon, then pulled the hook on a white on the troll and caught another dolphin before setting up.
At night we picked up 2 yellowfins on live squid on 50# flouro rigs and we pulled the hook on a nice swordfish. We had dolphin in and out of the lights from time to time and we even had a tripletail swimming around. we tried like crazy to get that tripletail in the boat but it didn't happen.
On the morning troll we picked up a bunch more dolphin trolling by the pots.
We ended up with 2 yellowfin and 22 dolphin to 20 pounds.
