Tom and I had retired tinknocker ace Dennis Hughes with us this morning looking for some late season crabs.
We left our slip in Atlantic Highlands Marina before 7:00 AM arriving 20 minutes later at the Oceanic Bridge and anchored up on the Northeast side of the bridge. The tide had not started in yet as we had the place all to ourselves. Using Bunker and Bluefish on drop lines we had about five dozen Bluecrabs by 10:30AM and we went back for a long ride back do to strong NW winds. Dennis tried using a couple of traps only getting a couple.There were only two shorts and a few females, which were huge. Pete
