Ran another one of our Special Oct Blackfish Trips Today. Had a great crew of guys onboard... Coolhand Al, Tony Trigs Pat Sr and Pat Jr, Bruce, and Jt.
Started off in 30 ft and we had a good bite going pretty quick... Most of the fish were the nice boxer size (2-4lb models) Played here until the bite slowed up... We Bounced around and had some almost ever where we stopped... Took alittle time to build life and get them bitin but then the bites became more steady...
Moved to another spot were we spent the rest of the day...Some nicer size fish came up in the 5-8lb class here... Pretty much everyone boated a decent fish here... Bites would come in spurts then back off it was picky at times... But good action and a bunch of feet stommpin and swearing!
Congrats to Tony triggs who came alive late boating 3 fish between 5lbs to his biggest at 8lbs... Bruce had a Few over 5 including his beauty at 7 1/2lbs... Pat Sr started out quick and might have had more but Pat Jr had the Biggest! Al you dont need no practice "this blackfishing is easy"... Jt became silent after his hog came unbuttoned!
By days end the guy boated over 100 blackfish with 65 being keeper size up to 8lbs... All nice healthy size fish! Everyone kept there 1 Fish and released the rest with Monger tags for nov and dec!!!
