Favorite Night-time Lure for Stripers in the surf???

I've had the most success with a Gibbs Needlefish (dark green) or Point Jude wobblehead (1.5oz) and a Hogy black.

What's your go-to lure at night?

A cold Bud light

sluggo, dark bombers, dark needles, dark swimmers.  usually dark at night.  gonna be out there tonight for a little while.  i will let you know what the weapon of choice.

Anything dark especially if the surf is churned up.  I carry a bunch of stuff in the bag so this way I can switch out if nothing works.

I don't surf fish all that much anymore.  But, when I do, I like black or yellow (depending on how bright it is out) bomber, mambo minnow or redfin type lure.  I also to throw like plastic eels behind a tin squid or a bucktail, and 6" shad baits. 

I rigged up a few 9" Sluggos last year to try (either from the beach or boat) but I haven't really thrown them yet. (pic below)
