Met Lee at KMB at 6:30 am.
Dock lines off at 6:45 am.I pointed Lee in the right direction and in no time we were fishing.Took several drifts and nobody was home.I casted a 1 oz White Smilling Bill Bucktail with Uncle Josh Pork rind & Lee casted a storm shad.Instead of wasting time I suggested we try another spot & that spot was void as well.So there was only 1 thing to do now is Start trolling.Lee found some good marks in the reach Channel but Trolling still did not produce for us.Lee says Art want to fish near the VZ I said ok.Lee stepped on the pedal & we were under the VZ bridge in no time ! We searched around but I did not like what I saw.So I turned to Lee & said let me be your tour guy
I said Lee let's go to the East River.So off we went.We stopped at the 1st spot in the river & there were 2 other boats drifting the area.We both drifted eels and did not get a hit.We made a move to the Williamsburg Bridge and let me tell you there had to be 50 boats there & nobody was hooking up ! Made another move to a spot that I knew that there was alot of hang ups so I watched Lee get snagged
Nothing doing in this spot.We searched high & low in other spots & nobody was home.Even though the catching was bad we still had Fun.Lee thanks for letting me be your Tour guy !
