Have to be in Perth Amboy tomorrow, wondering if there is any action on the piers.

I hooked up with a monster bass while drifting eels off a pier on my boat on Sunday. The Bass broke the leader. So it looks good. I was thinking of doing some pier fishing when I pull the boat out. I see many guys from below Texas fishing the piers. I have not witnessed them catching though.  I do like the structure. TT^

Got to Gordon St. Pier about 6:15 AM, downed a cup of coffee and began to set up. Watch Mike and the Sea Hawk pass in the dark. First bite just about sunrise, lost it and couldn't tell what it was. second bite a few casts later, was a keeper Tog. My fishing partner for the day, hooked a short Bass. Lost bite as tide changed, stayed until 10:30. Here' a couple of pics. Sunrise, My Tog, lights are the Sea Hawk underway.

You can fish some abandoned piers a few blocks toward the Outerbridge. They stick out much further into the bay.
