Luna Sea 3 is going, either short sale, raffle or volunteer repo to make room for Luna Sea 4 next season.  Larger, more comfortable boat, but older.

Instead of giving the boat back to the bank, is it worth the money for others to win an opportunity. For those who don't know, Luna Sea 3 is a 2005 Anniversary Edition 26' Yellow CC with twin 175 Evinrudes.

I am not one to risk $320 in a 1 /125 shot to win 40K  and I think If anyone was.. They could afford to just buy the boat no problem.

I think you have a great Boat there Nick.. and should have trouble selling it. Not sure 40k will work in these times..

thanks for the advice Rod.. thats what I posted this up for. I personally would spend $320.00 for a chance to win $40k.. especially since the blue book on it is $55K, and replacement value for that same boat new is $98K.

I actually think the $1K to have a 1-40 chance is even better with the odds.

Try Ebay easy to do, can set your reserve price and add a caviot that you can cancel auction if sold locally.

Sold my last Grady on Ebay and got a lot more than i wanted........though the market has changed

i tried ebay last year.. didn't work.. my bank will look into a short sale, but not sure my broker is working for me as hard as he should.

thanks, but I have a signed contract at the moment, and I want the boat gone one way or another with in the month.  Then I will take advantage of that flooded market and have it work in my favor.  I saw some nice 28' Wellcraft cuddy cabins with twin I/B.  also looking at a Mako Cuddy with twin O/b 225 hp.
