Headed out Saturday on the Sea Hawk and sailed with just 8 people. Was good to see Tony, Scotty, and Mick. First drop held alot of promise as some fish came up quick and I even pulled out a few. Bite didn't last too long and captain decided to try and find some porgies. Made some drops at other locations but not much materialzed. Overall everyone had their 1 tog limit and only a few sea bass and porgies.
I did manage to take the pool with a fish just over 5.5#. Overall I think I'd of had 5 keepers and 6 shorts. Seemed split on whites and greens. Whole small ones of either seemed best.
Good to knock off some rust and drown a few crabs. Even better with some good friends
