Spent a week in Southern California and got to do some fishing. Went out on a Party boat, The Spitfire out of Redondo Beach. Fished right next to cliffs containing kelp patties at Catalina Island. Caught Calico Bass, Spanish Macks, Bonito, Perch, and one small Barracuda. Nice to see how the west coast live bait boats operate. also took a trip out on The New Del Rey out of Marina Del Rey. Jigged California style jigs for Barracuda. Lost A really big one right at the boat. It's true that they can throw the lure back into the boat! When it was all said and done, I still like Atlantic Ocean fishing better. <'(((((><
