Shark River 11-10
« on: November 10, 2009, 07:12:07 PM »
Got out of the inlet with no problem today since the dredge is broken.  Followed some schools of bluefish down almost to Manasquan.  Ended up with over 40 caught and released with two short bass mixed in.  When the blues disappeared we tried the Sea Girt Reef for Blackfish but gave up with the dog bite.

Nice trip Dave. We didn't see many blue fish up north today. Seems like a right turn out of the inlet is appropriate if you want the blues and bass unless you go a lot north.  t^
