Had Bruce Tony Bob Bates and friends along for another day of jigging and then some blackfishing.
Headed back out to birds diving and fishing splashing... First few spots were all the monster blues you could want tearing up everything.... But no bass mixed in for us.
Took a ride to where we had more stripers mixed in on the weekend but it was Just more big blues and a Couple of short stripers.
Headed inshore to the beach and there was a blitz going on... Surf fishermans dream!!! Caught a Bunch of stripers but there were all shorts for us 22 to 27 in.
Took a ride to go feed the pets... blackfish were right there waiting... Nice mix of keepers and shorts... After a little motivational speaking Tony was the man Bob and Bruce also had nice fish... Over 2 Dozen keeper size fish n shorts. With everyone keeping there 1.
So for the day the guys Jigged up as many blues as they wanted to keep releasing,released a bunch of short stripers and a limit of tog.
Wish there was some keepers mixed in but it was a fun action filled day of jigging and the blackfish bite doesnt get much better than its been for the last 2 weeks!
