Wire (Monol) vs LeadCore
« on: November 12, 2009, 04:14:27 PM »
I am thinking I am going to switch over to LeadCore trolling line this year
(decision was made today when I pulled 50 yards of wire "just to check" and it parted on me!)

I only troll for stripers and not very often, although I have also decided this year to become better at trolling and the only way I know is to go!

So, how 'bout it guys, who has made the switch and what can you share with me

(Capt Rich, do you have lead core at your store?)

This is what I use and don't have a problem with it breaking.

Fishing Sandy Hook and anywhere I can get on a boat.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife sells all of my fishing tackle for what she thinks I paid for it!
