Left Keansburg with my brother at 5:45am with a flat calm ride to the spot where they've been biting.  Searched for the birds which appeared real heavy at sunrise.  Got on some great marks with the first drift and all gator blues and extra small shorts.  5hrug NG!  After that birds were scattered everywhere and couldn't get any good marks.  Ended up boating 1 keeper bass before taking a ride south.  Bad move.  Absolutely nothing south down the beach.  Back north between the channels same deal, no marks with limited bird play.  Decided to take a few more drifts directly under some dipping birds and bam!  Picked 2 fish each quick drift with most being keepers.  Caught 4 keepers within 15 minutes.  Then we picked 2 more within the next hour totaling 7 for the day.  A cold morning turned into a bright warm afternoon.  Time is winding down.  Will be pulling the boat next week.  Another exceptional day on the water.  Way too many trollers out there.  Tie on a jig and work for your fish!  hhppy

Who needs a pull!  slt
