Capt.Ron/Fishermen/Sundays Way too nice a day!!!
« on: November 29, 2009, 04:10:56 PM »
Like I've said in the past, you gotta love the snot!!
Today proved it once again..Flat calm ocean, no wind and way too much traffic to put any amount of fish in the boat.
Had a few good drifts to start the day, mostly shorts but we did manage some keepers up until the traffic got way too crazy.
Ran down the beach only to hear the Southern guys talking about the same lack of a bite. Even the Bluefish that we couldn't get away from the past two weeks didn't chew!
Looked inshore, offshore (where the Tuna where jumping out of the water) then back up to the North for the change of tide... That didn't help either, so tomorrow is another day. One tough day outta the past two weeks ain't so bad!!! Capt.Ron

Nice try Capt!
Fishing Sandy Hook and anywhere I can get on a boat.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife sells all of my fishing tackle for what she thinks I paid for it!

Tough day trying to read them with the nice weather and boat traffic.  You'll hammer them with the Monday regulars tomorrow!
