Had Bruce, Jerry, Chris, Chris 2, Bill, and Joe Jigs for a day of Blackfishing...
Headed out to a beautiful ocean and nice west wind... got set up on our first piece and had bites right away... Decent pick at em with some nice size boxers... Joe had the hot hand early landing his limit by 8:15... picked and plucked a few dozen keepers before bite slowed up....
Made a move and next two drops produced a few keepers each and a bunch of shorts...
Our next drop they started chewing again... some some more keepers n shorts...the guys broke or dropped a few good ones... picked away at em for the rest of the day till we had our boat limit!
Congrats to Joe Jigs who had his day of glory he was high hook with 17 keeper size fish...Chris young salt redeemed himself in the afternoon... Bruce n Jerry consistent as always ... and Chris and Bill stuck with it to box a few.
We managed to over 55 keeper size blackfish today up to 6 lbs with everyone taking home a legal limit! Almost forget to mention Bruces beautiful eel:D Alot Better day and chew compared to yesterday.
Got Cleaned up and off to the SSFFF Meeting seen lots of familar faces and Capts... had great info and explaniation of status up to date and on going and future projects.
