We sailed on sat and sun with a nice group of guys each day.

Water temps were still cold but they did get up to 41 deg and we are starting to catch inshore and close to the dock again.

NjSaltwater own Israel, jay and group it was a pleasure meeting you guys!!! Thanks for the kind words.

Sat- Started out in 55ft and bounced around that area all day... Picked and plucked some fish but it was a slow scatchy bite... around 11am the fish turned and and chewed a little when the tide changed it went back to a pick.

Bob was on fire in the bow catching his 10 fish delaware limit pete and bill combined for 11 keepers sending the roup home with 21 keepers to 8 lbs.

Larry and wife combined for 8 keepers. Njsaltwaters Israel and group managed to put a few in the coolers as well. What a fun bunch of guys !!!

Pool winner around 9lbs. Around 50 keepers total.

Sun - Started around the same area, but the bite was def slower. We had some bites, but you had to really work for the fish. never really turned on like sat.

Tried a deeper drop but we lost our anchoring conditions by the and didnt sit right. Went back inshore to pick a few more keeps.

Nj own Orlando and broken bobber combined for 9 keepers. Balky was high hook with 6 keepers. Larry was back again with him and his wife had 7 keepers. Some other had a couple of keepers.

Pool winner was 5lbs. Around 30 keepers total

Small baits worked best. Fish are there, just gotta work to catche em. Hopefully the water warms up a few more deg.

Thanks

Sailed two trips this weekend...

Sat we started off with real good. Had consistent good bites in 55ft, 41deg water temp. Bite petered out when the current picked up... went to a pick.

Action Jackson, Maryland, had a banner day and was high hook, reelin in 19 KEEPER size fish retain his 10 fish delaware limit and winning the pool. Capt Stan and Mike From the Elaine B fame were aboard and combined for 12 keepers. Other had 4-5 keepers and everyone had there chance at putting fish in Da bucket.

Sun

With high hopes from the sat chew and an all star cast from nj aboard thought we were gonna have a great day. Turned out to be a bust. Fished around the same areas and fish didnt chew. Water temp up to 42.5 but just a scratchy one here one there type bite.

couple of guys had 4 keepers and it went down from there. Chris caught his 4 keepers on MUSSELS.

Great meeting Shrimpman and crew as well as some of the familar faces.

Next week the last week of Blackfishing for us.

Thanks

Picky Fishing This weekend... But a few fish around to make it interesting.

Both fri and sat were around the same. They def were favoring shrimps over both green and white crabs and we saw an increase in short fish.

Roger and family From Nj Combine for 6 or 7 keepers on sat and sun.
Jimmy hahn had 4 keepers.

Team 200:1 Joe, smokey ans chris was on scene sat for 7 keepers in da bucket.

Nice seeing so many of regular customers come out on the last weekend.

Fishing was off this season compared to the last 2. But you cant change mother nature.

Thanks all who have fished with us for Blackfish this year...

It's that time of year , is there any information as to when and where the Bandit will be coming down to Delaware .

Capt. Bill Baker of Bill's Sportshop said Capt. Scotty was going to be at the South side marina this winter .

Looking forward to fishing on the boat .
