Daiwa Reel Review
« on: January 05, 2010, 09:04:56 PM »

just wanted to throw my 2 cents in

i own the 6000 version of this reel

a little heavey but overall a excellant reel for the surf extremely reliable with great action

comes with a second spool

cabelas also offers a combo for 140 with one of there rods not a bad deal for what you get

gets my vote but would deffinately go with the 5000 model unless you need alot of line capacity

Thanks!  Had an older version of that reel by Daiwa.  Lasted 15 years and is still going...
