I/O to Outboard can it be done

woundering if you can change a I/O to a outboard if so how much work is it and what would be the cost (around)

easier going from I/O to Outboard, then the other way around.
Fish out of Toms River NJ.

Yes it can be done. It does get costly.
It may also change the handling characteristics of the boat.
Once the old drive system is removed there is glass work to be done.
You'll need an Outboard Bracket such as an Armstrong to mount the outboard.
And add rigging, controls, wiring, gauges, fuel lines etc all to the job.
And the cost of the outboard.

 thud LOL never mind, I whas looking for a CC 17 to 20 ft for my 115 merk outboard but all i see cheep ia I/O
