Waterproof camera case
« on: February 03, 2010, 05:30:05 AM »
Has anyone have any knowledge of these cases?
Look like they might do the trick if you can't afford a waterproof camera.

I would not trust my cameras to any thing that is not bolted closed.  The depth is only 15 meters so anything beyond that your looking for trouble.  If you are looking for something to take on the water or the beach and keep your equipment dry and safe it would be just fine.  I would not trust it underwater.

Was just looking for something on the boat or beach without going broke. I wouldn't trust it underwater either.

I think they will work for the boat or beach...just to keep it dry and sand free.  I used something similar for 2 way radios when I was a teenager working at the Water Park.  They did the job and saved the radio so.

^ Well said. Exactly what I use. You don't want saltwater/salt spray coming in contact with your camera at all. Salt ruins electronics faster then you can say "Paul take me fishing"  ;D
