NOAA mailed survey's
« on: March 02, 2010, 09:44:36 AM »
Is anybody else getting NOAA survey's mailed to their homes to fill out?  This latest survey was about Cod, Pollock and Haddock...they give you three trips to rank which one you would like best....one trip has 2 keepers allowed, but you catch 10, but you also keep some of the other species, each trip varies in length from 2 hours to 12 hours and from $28 to $550. some trips have more keepers but less fish actually caught, and so on and so on.

They really hurt my brain to fill out and I'm not 100% sure what the heck they are tyring to gather from these types of surveys...I guess the information could prove useful. ie. would you rather catch more and throw back more or be able to keep more but catch less and how many dollars are you willing to spend and such ....

wonder what the rest of you think about them?
