The Paramount out of Briele sails for ling.  Captain Tony Bogan is a member of this site and he runs the show over there.  I've fished with them and have had a good time.

The Dauntless out of Point Beach and The Ocean Explorer out of Belmar are fishing for ling now.

Some days are good and some are ok.  Watch the seas and give it a go.  Which ever boat you sail with call the night before.  All three will give you an honest response.

No sweat.  I'm one of the few who fish during the winter, so I've been through the drill.  Also watch the currents, that is where a phone call to the boat will help.  Either use braid or if you use Trilene like me, you need heavier weights.  Go to the "buy and sell" section if you need weights, my friend Sam The Sinker Man will give you a good deal.

Have fun and let us know how you did.
