Winter Flounder and Garlic & Herb Cheese "Pate"
« on: March 27, 2010, 09:34:55 PM »
Ingredients:
1 pound of NJ Winter Flounder fillets. ( You might have to bring your wife with you to the Mantoloking Bridge, just so you can put 4 fish in the bucket to make this delicious deligh.t) >:D

4 ounces of Kraft Deli Deluxe 3 Cheese Garlic and Herb Cheese.

  4 Ounces of Cream Cheese.

  1/2 cup Sour Cream.

  2 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice.

  2 Tablespoons Dijon mustard.

  1 Green onion, minced.

1 Teaspoon chopped fresh dill weed or, 1/2 teaspoon of dried dill weed. (If you do not have dill weed, substiute regular weed at your own risk!)

  Salt & Pepper.

Set the oven to 400 degrees. Lightly grease a baking dish and add the fish fillets.

Cover them evenly with a thin layer of sour cream, salt & pepper. Bake for 30 minutes.

Rmove from oven and let cool, then break into flakes.

In a food processor, combine the remaining ingredients and process until smooth.

Add the Winter Flounder and process the mixture again.

Put this into a serving bowl, cover and put into the refrigerator for about 2 hours.

Serve with crackers, sliced bread, or vegetables.

  ENJOY ! ! !
