Awesome way to show Veterans you care. From my experience, we're extremely grateful to anyone who takes time and actually thinks about the troops in general. Being back from my second deployment for almost two years now, I dont hear anything about whats going on overseas now and it becomes disheartening (like does anyone realize 100,000 American lives are in Afghanistan fighting for Aghani Rights- not American Freedom). When mail trucks come in and random people from throughout the country send random items (notebooks, movies, hygeine items), it hits the soldier/sailor/marine inside. There are people that care, people that think of those fighting. And for those sending packages, taking veterans out fishing, or simply buying a service member a drink at the local bar: THANK YOU- it makes a huge difference, only those who've lived it, understand it.
