4/14/10
The Rob Fraley party was on for Rob’s Birthday. Left the dock around 7am and got to an nice spot in some deeper water. Fishing in about 10 feet and the water temp starting at 54 and rose to about 58. Fished about two hours of the incoming and had some small bit but nothing took the hook. As the tide turned we had a raise in the temp and then it was game on. Rob’s Cousin landed the first fish and was 28” and as they were taking pictures of that fish another rod goes down and Rob had his Birthday wish of a nice 31” striper. Donna was next with two nice runoff’s line pealing off the rod and Donna was unable to get the rod out of the holder in time and they both spit the hook. Had some more small play with the rod but nothing came tight. End the day with two in the box.
