Headed out for another day of Blackfishing... Billy, Ken, Adam, Bruce and Tom rounded out todays Crew.
Started out deeper got set up and had good Life right away... lot bites but lots of shorts... Plucked a couple keepers in between all the small tog but was happy to see the life... Shifted around for a couple more keepers and more shorts... Couple of short cod fish as well. Made another drop in the deep and it was the same ton of bites and shorts but we put a few more Keepers in the Box.
Moved inshore a bit for the rest of the day... Less bites but fish were mostly Boxers in shallower up to Bobbers 9lb fish. had to wait out the bites... Everyone fished hard and picked at boxers until we reached our Boat Limit.
Lotsa action and bites but ya still had to work hard to get some keepers... But we put in a Long day for a full box of fish!!!
Pretty much a clam bite today.
Congrats to Ken first time on the Fish Monger... He had the hot hand with 9 keepers(Only taking a limit)... Bobber had the Big fish at 9lbs... Billy is always a puller if ya can get him away from the steelies... Nice Seeing Adam k and Bruce Again always fun to have on the boat... They worked hard to put some in the Box!!!
By days end Between everyone we wound up with just under 30 Keepers... With everyone taking home a limit and Nice bag of fish... Lots of shorts today... Few short cod but we manage 1 Keeper Cod.

We are Full or Chartered on the weekends For the rest of the Month... But will be sailing Open Next Tues and Thurs (see open boat forum)... Then Stripers and Bottomfishing in May!!!
