Tons of Bass and TOG
« on: April 18, 2010, 10:55:45 AM »
The bite was red hot today (4/17/10) with all fares bringing home their limits on the Islander. Despite the nasty forecast, which was wrong by the way, we had a handful of die hard Toggers show up at the dock and it paid off. Most of the fish were in the 5 - 8 lb range and the pool winner reaching 12 lbs 4 oz.

The last open boat Blackfish trip will be Saturday, April 24 from Holiday Harbor Marina in Waretown. Reservations are not required but it helps us get an estimated head count thanks.

The Tuna-Tic is up in the Highlands just crushing the Bass. On 4-16 in horrible wind against tide conditions we had 20 fish on 4-17 we had 40 fish in just an hour all on jigs. The fish were all in the 10 to 20 pound range and maybe a few over 20. For whatever reason it has started early this year and the bite is on.
They are calling for light NW wind this week so if you want to get on this bite give me a call.
