Daiwa Saltist Conventional Reel
« on: April 23, 2010, 01:27:10 PM »
I have been looking to buy a new reel to match
with the pole I won at the NJSWF Dinner.
It's a STTL 20H levelwind reel. Anyone out there
have one of these, any input would be helpful.

The picture is not the 20H model but it is just a smaller version of the one shown.

I have the 20 and 50 in non-levelwind/high speed ratio.  Both have been good to me.  Lightweight and very smooth.

The 50 has many yellowfin to its credit and still performing flawlessly.

Im looking at the same reel for jigging. I dont think I need the 2 speed version. And Im looking at the non-levelwind one because they cast better. I do like Daiwa reels.

Thanks for the input, I have it down to the STTL20HA non level wind Cheapest I found was 150.00 from SRMO.com other prices were 170.00.
I want something with a good retrival ratio and this one has 6:1:1 good reports on that as far as I can see.
