Trailer bearings & New Brakes
« on: April 25, 2010, 02:18:09 PM »
While I was inspecting repacking the trailer bearings, I decided to replace the brakes while I had the hub/drum off. Only 4 bolts, the brake line fitting, and bleeding when done. I'm sure it will slow down a little better now. Sorry, no pix of the bearings being repacked, it's too messy a job to be handling the camera. <'((((><

Nice job. Its nice knowing that the trailer brakes actually work. Just for info, Kodiak makes the best disc set-ups if you ever wanted to convert.

I'll keep that in mind, as that was a consideration. <'((((><

Sure beats honing the cylinders and re-shoeing.  Did mine last year.  The whole assemblies  with back plate were under 60.00 each.  t^
