Cod/Pollock in the Rain-Lightning-Wind and Seas
« on: May 09, 2010, 06:01:38 PM »
Took the week end off to fish with my good friend Capt Jim in Green Harbor Ma........all told we had 3 boats chartered.

The day (sat) started out with a chop and then continued to worsen...heavy Rain, Lightning, Thunder, High wind 5-7' seas....but the fish were biting.

All of our boats limited on Cod to 15 lbs and bailed in all the Pollock you wanted......arms are sore from pulling up double and tripple headers.

Everybody had at least 30 lbs of fillets.............great time as usual.

Was glad to to be back on the water with capt Jim, had grown close to him over the past 19 yrs.......last year he had a health scare and was in a coma on a ventalator. Great man with a ton of knowledge.

We are headed back up in Sept for Schoolie Blue Fin on Heavy spinning tackle can't wait.
