Tuna-Tic & Islander
« on: May 11, 2010, 07:31:49 PM »
So far, it’s been a great year, to say the least. The bite started in mid April with plenty of nice-sized keepers and it is still going strong. Most of our trips have caught their limits so far except for a couple of trips when we tried new spots, but most caught very well. The water still looks like chocolate milk and the next couple of days aren’t looking very pretty.  But the Bass like the choppy water, so were going to start up again tomorrow. The next available spot on the Tuna-Tic is Sunday afternoon (5/16) and next week I have the 18th, 19th & 20th open.  The Islander also has available dates if you have a group larger than 6 people. There are only a couple of weeks left for spring Stripers out of the Highlands.  We will be moving the boats back to Holiday Harbor Marina in Waretown by the end of the month.

This past Saturday, (5/8/10), despite the forecast, we left the dock at 5am and we were limited out by 7am, then went on to fill a cooler of Blues for the Brandon Bevin charter. Let’s hope we can pick up where we left off.

Thanks, Captain Mike
