Saturday: Morning was bad. Trolled around the bay waiting for the tide to change and picked up one keeper and some blues. Anchored up at the change and clammed for about an hour with no hits so we went back on the troll. Only caught a couple of more blues. Headed in closer to home and anchored on a little knoll to give the clams another chance. Had a short almost immediately and then we picked up some keepers towards the end of the tide. Finished with 5 keeps to 39" a few shorts and some blues.
Sunday: Decided to skip the morning and fish the outgoing. Had my son and nephew on board and we headed right back to the knoll where we had them yesterday. It was slow at first but later in the tide the bite got hot. I was baiting, casting and netting and they were just reeling them in. We kept our 6 fish and let some more keepers go along with some shorts. Biggest was 36 inches.
