Any fluke left??? blues in the bay?

woops meant YET......Hey guys, i just bought myself a boat (2000 21ft. striper CC) and i just want to test it out, but not in the ocean yet, i dont have a vhf or anything yet. I wanted to try for blues or fluke tomorow after work (5pm) around the barnegat inlet, bi.bb bouys, Anyone heard on any fluke or blues in there? I just want to land a fish on her!!

 Do yourself a favor and make sure you have all your CG required equipment prior to shoving off. You can  raise BoatUS/Seatow on a cell phone. For some quick fish no matter the tide I would say the best bet would be blues on OC. You may want to stay away from the inlet until you get a few hours on your motor. Top water (chug bugs/striper swiper or the likes) long cast and fast retrieve just about anywhere down OC. If you dont raise a fish in ten minutes move down the channel 50yards. Good luck

ohh yess. its been a  while since i have fished down south.. all the boats i worked on are up north manasqaun inlet. Ill give it a go tomorow! thanks guys

 Have been getting blues around the 42 marker. That's near beginning of DCC. All on surface plugs. Watch for birds diving. slt
