Cock Robin- Thursday
« on: May 27, 2010, 06:36:56 PM »
With eager anticipation we set out, knowing that yesterday was not a good day, but hey, that was yesterday....

Well today was WORSE than yesterday.....with a choppy sea, finding the bunker was very difficult (even w/ Captain Jim's new NAVNET VX2!!).  When we did find 'em, they were spread out and skittish, we even went full stealth mode, gliding in, turning everything off including the radio!!  They still swam away.

Only positive I can offer is I only saw one bunker boat and he was heading in.  If the fleet of bunker boats can give the grounds a rest, the bunker ARE THERE and will re-school.   BASS are there as well, we read 'em good, just couldn't get 'em to eat

We will will be ready tomorrow morning!!!

See the open boat forum, NIGHT FISHING begins tomorrow!!!

(for an inside look at the corporate meeting of Cock Robin, Inc......
Capt Jim, "....so who's on for Friday and Saturday night?..."
Bill, "...umm, like, TOMORROW Friday and Saturday night?..."
Capt Jim, "Yea."
Bill, "...lemme see what I can do..."
(sheesh)
