5/31 The Good, The Bad,and The Ugly

Had Ed Whitney and company out for some Stripers and figured we would need to fish early due to boat traffic so we left dock at 5:15 and set the hook by 5:54 a.m.
within minutes had a nice 5lb Blackfish that was released. tide started coming in and we chummed heavy to get the slick started. an hour and a half into the tide we have our first taker...a nice 17lb first ever Striper for Caryn Whitman. That was all to be had for us today....slow fishing all around...guys next to us had 2 fish on live bunker,guys behind us had zip. everyone moving around and then moving again. Decided to try fluking and that was just as bad.
The Good: Caryn's First Bass
The Bad: The fishing today
The Ugly: The ride home in a good ole 20+ east wind in wind vs tide slop.
